Adaptation - The Junior's perspective

"Before we came here, MANAGE was in our mind.... After we are here, MANAGE is in our hearts.... From now on, MANAGE should be in our blood", an excited CR exclaimed. He was right. Our CR is pretty good at motivation and I am, at times, inspired by his qualities as a leader. Flashing back to July 7th, I was like a child in his first day at kindergarden! The last 40-odd days were one of the fastest in my life.
It was hard at first to (as Adarsh sir says) shed the thinking pattern of a student and think like a manager. Assignments were tough at first, but they all seem to be great memories now. I am sure the sweetness of the initial days here would grow with time.
I am a bit sad at the back of my mind that, since all our rooms have Wi-Fi connectivity, the meetings and the group assignments at CC have become redundant.
I never thought that making friends would be such an instantaneous process and one which breaks all the cultural and linguistic barriers. Learning about diverse cultures and especially the traditions of North Indians (which is totally new to me) is such a great experience!
The only problem remains with Hindi. Although I can speak quite well, I still get confused with the use of gender!!
It is true in my case that 'adaptation' to the new environment was very much spontaneous and natural. I am sure it is the case with all the others.
